The Graduate Student Wellness Conference is a national conference convened by UC Berkeley’s Black Graduate Student Association that brings together speakers, healers, scholars, artists, performers, scientists and educators from across the country to build a movement to develop and share strategies and tools for wellness.
This year’s conference is co-sponsored by Word Sound Life and funded by the ASUC and Graduate Assembly. The conference organizing committee is open to individuals, communities, organizations, schools and universities who share our concerns on campus climate and community wellness issues (healing, fitness, creativity, food justice, art & music therapies, sustainable design, cross-cultural communication).
Workshops, panels and speaker topics will be tailored towards the experience of graduate students from underrepresented groups, although students of all walks (including undergraduates) are welcome. The main goal of this year’s conference is to provide our campus community with the tools necessary for all students to succeed and thrive in their myriad academic, professional, physical and spiritual pursuits.
